- Algorithms, Combinatorics, and Optimization is offered by the College of Engineering through the Industrial and Systems Engineering Department, the College of Science through the Mathematics Department, and the College of Computing. To be considered for admission to ACO, a student must be admitted to the doctoral program in one of these units. Students must select a home school from one of the following disciplines:
